Barbie Clothes 3

This outfit makes me think of a movie I recently watched- "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying". The pleats were tough! I can't imagine making a skirt with pleats for a human! Barbie's was hard enough!














And this one reminds me of "Happy Days". There is supposed to be matching underwear underneath, but I didn't want to bother with the elastic. Too much work. She's Barbie, not a real person!

I found a great model for the photo shoot! Isn't she lovely? She managed to have the exact same look in every shot! Amazing!


This one reminds me of Nancy Drew (especially with the scarf!) and of Grace Kelly (especially the black!):

Barbie Clothes 1

Last Saturday, I wanted to do nothing but watch movies and Midsomer Murders all day. But I needed a project to work on. I'm waiting on a new screen for making paper, so that wouldn't do. And then I had an idea! I have so many little scraps of fabric, and a cool vintage Barbie clothes pattern. And put them together and you get these:


This one was fun, putting together the purple and violet. I like this pattern!












This one is the same as the violet ball gown:












And this coat pattern always makes me think of Audrey Hepburn:
